The Loft is approximately 15 kilometres from the town of Knysna and a similar distance from the beaches of Brenton and Buffalo Bay. At The Loft you are in the countryside bordering on the indigenous forest, but still close enough to Knysna town for a movie, a play at the playhouse or a memorable visit to one of Knysna’s outstanding restaurants.
In the area you will find numerous artists and craftsman including makers of fine pottery, wooden bowls, sculpture, decoupage, fine art, silkscreening and much more as well as the old gold mining town of Millwood, Jubilee Creek and the new Dalene Matthee “circles in a forest” walk & memorial.
