Knysna, the heart of the Garden Route, has been voted
the most popular small town in South Africa and
the "Engen Town of the Year".
It offers a wide variety of attractions in a
temperate climate
and in beautiful surroundings: bird watching, forest walks,
sea & lagoon sailing, canoeing, boating, fishing, diving,
hiking, paragliding, horse riding, and more.
Our self-catering, fully equipped garden
units - with own entrances - are serviced daily. They are decorated in a fresh blue and
white theme. Lime-washed pine furniture creates an uncluttered and comfortable holiday
environment in a spacious garden with lovely views of the Knysna Lagoon and Knysna Heads.
A FLAT which sleeps two comprises a double
bedroom (all linen supplied) with TV and radio, kitchen-cum-dining room (microwave, hot
plate, toaster, kettle) shower and toilet, and a covered patio with a portable braai
(barbecue).
A third person, child or adult, can be
accommodated by moving a spare bed into the kitchen-cum-diningroom. Disabled friendly.
Parking is safe and close to the flat. This flat looks out onto the lagoon and the
Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe railway line which crosses the lagoon. In front of the flat is a Wild
Plum tree which is frequented from September to December by the beautiful Knysna Loerie.
A COTTAGE which sleeps four
has two bedrooms (one upstairs with en-suite shower and toilet), all linen supplied and
both have TV, kitchen-cum-dining room (microwave, hot plate, toaster, kettle) large
bathroom with bath, shower, toilet, and a patio with portable braai (barbecue) - shaded by
a large fig tree. Parking is safe and right in front of the cottage. The upstairs bedroom
has a lovely view of the lagoon.
